If you happen to find yourself in the beach town of Surfside, Tx or feel like making a road trip the Beach Front Deck Bar and Grill is a must stop. As self-proclaimed beach bums we found this hidden gem to check all the boxes.
Let's start with the location and views. It is literally on the beach. Outdoor and indoor dining with views of the Gulf Of Mexico. If you are planning to spend the day at the beach you can even drive your car out on the sand (watch the tides) and set up right behind the restaurant.
The service was great as well as the food and drinks. If you like spicy then the Spicy Burger will no doubt satisfy even the biggest critic. Did we mention that they also serve the Galveston famous Tiki Wheat Beer!
When you are done eating head downstairs for some fun with one of their many beach games from volleyball, cornhole and washers to name a few. If you follow your mom's rule of no swimming 15 minutes after eating then you can just hang out in one of their hammocks and take in the scenery. Both the adults and kids had a blast hanging out under the restaurant.
Now if you enjoy the nightlife then no worries they have you covered as well. They offer live music in their outdoor bar area complete with a stage, fire pit and plenty of seating. What could be better than having your toes in the sand with entertainment from one of the many bands that make their way to the stage.
